Nora and Rookie are the Adventure Crew. They love going on hikes in the woods and always make sure to walk in their instinctively diagonal patterns. Nora loves nature and is so agile, jumping over tree stumps, climbing rock jetties, and more. She loves chilling out and suntanning on the deck or in one of the deck chairs. Nora has a great sigh and lets you know when she is ready for her morning peanut butter sandwich. Rookie is a fetching champion and will fetch his toys for hours. He has a little perch spot in the yard, which he crouches down and waits for us to throw his toys. Rookie has another gear when running with Nora, but Nora is okay with that. Nora and Rookie bark and talk to each other on the couch, in the yard, wherever and whenever they can. Nora and Rookie have become part of our family and especially love cookouts when our younger family members aren't watching, so they can snag a cheeseburger or hot dog.

Tell us about your pets funny quirks, habits and personality!
Nora has the best comedic timing of any dog I have ever met. She will sigh at the perfect time - at the end of one of my long winded stories to my wife or kids, after a long walk as she lays down on the deck, while waiting for a cup of yogurt or a peanut butter sandwich snack. Her sighs are just priceless. Rookie's favorite toy is "The Buoy." It is legendary in our house. Rookie can find "The Buoy" anywhere in the yard, anywhere in the woods, even the ocean. He has so much love for "The Buoy" that he falls asleep with it in his mouth. Sometimes, Nora plays tricks on Rookie and attempts to hide "The Buoy" in the flower beds. Rookie finds and brings it to me with an emphatic tail wag that has been known to knock over glasses, tree ornaments, and the occasional stack of papers. When Nora and Rookie get "talking" to each other, it actually sounds like two turkeys. Each weim has a great personality and really are like cartoon characters at times.
