Here's Dusty as a 4-month old flat-chested, gangly puppy, who hasn't grown into his ears or legs yet.  He never enjoyed swimming, but preferred to think of the pool as his giant water dish.  He secretly hoped that his food bowl would expand to the same size.

He was a happy guy, and loved everyone!  He would run to you tilting his head from side to side, shaking his shoulders, and wiggling his butt.  He did NOT like other animals, and once tried to pick a fight with a horse!

Dusty took great pleasure in simple things - like tearing a cardboard tube into tiny little pieces, then parading around with them stuck to his lip.  He also enjoyed pulling the batting out of his stuffed toys.  He would make a minuscule hole, and work in a trance-like fever to pull it all out; he was very thorough.

He was very routine oriented, and although he loved traveling, he wasn't sure that he liked the change of pace that vacations brought.  He managed to have a good time jumping from bed to bed in the first hotel he ever stayed in, he handled elevator rides with ease, and thought that riding in a golf cart was awesome.

Tell us about your pets funny quirks, habits and personality!
Dusty was a skillful counter surfer, and once ended up in the emergency room after eating a pound of raw shrimp (tails and all)!  As a true grey ghost, he could materialize out of nowhere if there was cantaloupe, peanut butter or chicken in the vicinity.

He loved to step on your foot, and found that sitting on your instep was particularly comfortable for him.  But don't dare touch HIS feet!

Dusty made many 2 AM trips to the back yard to stare up at the moon in amazement, then race back to bed to get the best spot.

In the winter, he rocked a genuine red Burberry overcoat, with a matching monogrammed hat.  He also had a yellow slicker for inclement weather, because he hated to go potty in the rain.

It was a privilege to share his little life, and the ultimate heartbreak to have to let him go.  He will never be forgotten.
