Rules

Submit a photo of your pet(s) and include:

• Name of your Pet/s
• Pets Age/s
• Your Name
• Your Email
• Your City and State (or Provence)
• A paragraph that tells voters more about your special pet/s. Make it interesting, fun and heartfelt to encourage those votes!
• Tell us about your pets funny quirks, habits and personality!

Photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution — 300 dpi or higher in PNG or JPG format — and no greater than 5MB. Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies. All submitted photos may be shared out on our social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram and our website! *All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph. WRN/ NYSWR retains the right to remove any inappropriate entries.


Each photo entry is $10. If you are among the top 12 entries receiving the most votes you will receive a free calendar.

Each $1 donation counts as one (1) vote. We encourage you to e-mail the contest link and spread the word through social media to family and friends and encourage them to vote for your favorite contestant's photo. Votes may be cast during the Voting Period only. All donations for votes are non-refundable and not tax deductible (there was a vote in exchange for the donation). Entries and donations MUST be made via the online contest page. Contest payments made online are through a secure site.


The top 12 pets with the highest votes will be featured in the 2019 Calendar. 1^st place recipient of the most votes will be featured on the cover AND the January page of the Calendar. The Calendar will be available for sale in late 2018.

WRN/ NYSWR will attempt to notify the top finalists via telephone or email as soon as possible after the contest closes. If the potential winners cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the organizer may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place from the next non-winning, eligible top vote-getter. Only pets will be featured in the calendar.

Various additional prizes may be awarded during the contest at the discretion of the contest organizer.


WRN/ NYSWR reserves the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice.

WRN/ NYSWR reserves the right to use any photos submitted for marketing purposes.
