Solomon, a "trucking dog". Solomon was adopted from Westbury CARE in October 2016 and joined our 3 other rescue dogs, Samson, Delilah and Hallel. He was one of a 4 dog pack wandering the streets of Westbury and was low heartworm positive. After Mike and I adopted him we had him on the "slow kill" treatment and he was declared heartworm negative 6 months later! Mike is a trucker and Solomon is his riding buddy. We want to express our gratitude to all those in Westbury CARE who made it possible for Solomon to be rescued into a better life.
