Velvet came to our home as an incredibly timid foster puppy. She was so scared of new places, new people, and especially kids. But, one thing that really boosted her confidence was our other dog, Brownie! They developed a strong and fast friendship. When Velvet was returned several times after failed adoption attempts, we couldn't see her go away and come back one more time. So, we foster-failed a second time!
