Pet's Story
I went to OHS for a big dog. And here was this lil chihuahua..in with the big dogs, so hoarse from barking almost at a whisper. I picked him. Was told he was a biter with a history of abuse and neglect. They said i would never get to really hold or touch him much. I laid on the floor..and let him sniff. He licked my face and just looked at me with the most amazingly loving eyes. I brought him home... and that night at bedtime, i felt something get on the bed, he crawled under the blanket and cuddled up to me. That was 8 years ago. He has licked my tears, holds my deepest secrets and is my beloved companion. That day? Im still not sure who saved who.
