Pet's Story or Bio
Monty is a 78 pound Goldendoodle who loves to run and chase balls. He was born in 2015 and lived his first 3 years with his original owners on Capitol Hill. They moved to New York City in early 2019 and Monty had to adapt to living in a 450 square feet apartment in Manhattan, venturing out to Central Park only now and then. His owners frequently traveled for work so Monty spent many weeks living in various boarding homes while they were away. As Monty's mood understandably declined, we connected with his owners and re-homed him to Redmond last October. Since then, Monty plays at the Marymoor Offleash Dog Park every day and shows us how grateful he is for feeling grass between his toes again by giving unrestrained tail wags, long kisses, nudging our hands for ear scratches, and taking up more than half of our bed!
