Rules

All photo entries must be submitted by December 18 at Noon to be included in the final vote count. Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered and ends December 18 at 8 p.m. PST. Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast for the duration of the contest. You may vote for your own photo.
Your pet does not have to be adopted from Seattle Humane, or any other shelter, to be eligible to enter the contest. Entries can include animals who have passed away.
Multiple animals are allowed in one photo. You may also enter multiple pets, each receiving their own votes. If you enter one pet more than once using different pictures, only one photo can be included in the top four winning photos.
Submitted pet photos are subject to approval. People are NOT allowed in photos, but photos of cats, dogs, and small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters, chinchillas) are accepted. Birds, fish and reptiles are not eligible for entry.
Copyrighted photos may only be included with the written permission of the copyright-holder. Once entered, photo submissions become the property of Seattle Humane to be used at its discretion for print and marketing purposes.
Winners will be announced on December 21, 2020.
