Your Cat's Story or Bio
Desmond was 4 months old navigating the streets of Philadelphia alone with a sprained leg when he was found by a passerby. The kind man helped Desmond get to WOL. Around this time my son Danny's beloved cat passed away from cancer, and Danny was heartbroken. I contacted WOL looking for an orange and white kitten, and when we met Desmond, it was love at first sight! Desmond and Danny adore each other and Desmond helps fill the void from Danny's loss.

We also foster for WOL, and Desmond now pays it forward by befriending each foster and helping them acclimate. Desmond loves the kittens we are currently fostering; he often cleans and grooms them, and they can often be found curled up with him after playtime. Here is Desmond grooming one of the foster kittens, Malibu, who clearly loves the attention from her big "brother!"
