Submissions
- Free Entries: Yep, you heard it right—submitting your cat's best shot won't cost you a dime!
- One Photo per Cat: Choose the absolute best photo of your beloved Whiskers of Love cat to submit.
- Triple the Fun: Do you have more than one whiskered wonder to show off? Each person can submit up to 3 photos.
- A single photo submission can contain one or multiple Whiskers of Love cats (e.g. a bonded pair, a litter of kittens)
Photo Eligibility
- Show Your Whiskers’ Charm: While we adore all pets, make sure your Whiskers of Love cat takes the spotlight in the photo.
- Feline Variety: Whether you adopted, fostered, or volunteered with these amazing kitties, they're the stars of the show.
- Picture Purr-fection: We're all about quality—submit full color, high-res photos that do justice to your cat's charisma.
- Keep It Cats-clusive: No humans in the spotlight, please! This is a feline affair.
- Photos must be horizontal (landscape) format
- Photos must be your own photos or you must own the copyright to the photograph
Whiskers of Love Cat Rescue reserves the right to deny any photo submission for any reason.
Tips for Taking a "Calendar Worthy" Picture
- Capture Cat-titude: Snapping your cat's attention at eye level makes for the most captivating shots.
- Chase the Sun: Natural light is their best sidekick. Say no to flash and let the sun work its magic.
- Declutter, Focus, Meow: Less background noise, more kitty glamour. Make your cat the heart of the composition.

- Vote for a Cause: Every vote, worth just $1, fuels our life-saving mission for Philadelphia's cats.
Prizes
- FIRST PLACE: Cat-tastic Triumphs: Win the coveted calendar cover spot AND a full-page photo collage for your whiskered wonder AND a free calendar!
- Second & Third Fiddles: The second and third most-voted photos earn a special place in our calendar. Each cat receives a full-page photo or photo collage for a month of your choice!
- Judge’s Paw-spective: Our judges are also picking a top-notch photo for a full-page display (no votes needed!)
- Raise & Shine: Every cat that raises $5 or more from votes becomes a Cat Ambassador and will have their photo displayed in the calendar!
