Pet's Story
We had been going to the Winnipeg Humane Society to visit baby kitties for many years. We were finally able to adopt Hamish in early 2024. He chose us when he climbed into his dad's lap and we quickly fell in love with his sweet and playful nature.
He is 3.5 years old and still has kitten energy. We refer to him as a purrfect ham and turkey sammich. He keeps us very active during the day and settles in with us for sleep at night. He has an adorable squeaky meow and trills when he wants to get our attention.
He has some cute little quirks that pop up, such as times when he will insist on eating his dinner on the table with us, he sometimes politely requests multiple scoopings of his litter box per day, and whenever a yoga mat unrolls he must go lie down on it for an immediate shavasana.
We are so happy that we get to be his mom and dad! And we are so happy to fundraise in support of all the good that WHS does for animals. This wonderful organization brought us our baby Hamie!
