Pet's Story
Riven is a 5-year-old mini Australian Shepherd with a heart as big as her bright, expressive eyes. Small but full of personality, Riven is the kind of dog who quickly becomes the soul of any room she’s in—especially if that room belongs to her family.

From the moment she wakes up to the moment she curls up for bedtime cuddles, Riven’s day revolves around being close to the people she loves (especially her little bro who sneaks her tons of snacks). Cuddling is one of her favourite pastimes, and there’s no better comfort than having her snuggled up on the couch. She seems to have a sixth sense for when someone needs extra affection and is always there, offering quiet companionship and a warm presence.

When she’s not curled up beside someone, Riven is often chasing her beloved ball. She could play fetch for hours (literally), her eyes lighting up with excitement every time it’s thrown. Her energy is contagious—she runs with such joyful intensity, then returns with a proud little bounce in her step, tail wagging wildly. Whether it’s in the backyard or on an open trail, Riven is in her element when she’s running free.

Though Riven can be a little anxious—especially around new people—she quickly warms up once she feels safe. Inside her home, she’s protective yet gentle, and it doesn’t take long before she’s leaning in for pets or bringing her ball to a new friend as a peace offering. Her trust is something special, and once you have it, you’re in her circle for life.

Riven is more than just a dog—she’s a beloved family member, a loyal companion, and a calming, joyful presence in the home. Her sweet spirit, playful energy, and unconditional love make her truly one of a kind!
