Pet's Story
Demi was found 14 years ago in a barn in the middle of a Winnipeg winter with frostbite on her ears. Soon after being rescued, she was adopted by her papa and her second human (me). If the pandemic wasn’t enough, she was diagnosed with cancer on her paw in 2020 and successfully had surgery to remove it. In her senior years, she is now struggling with arthritis and having difficulty jumping so her papa has made her numerous boxes so she can easily hop onto furniture (pictured above). When she’s not proving she really has nine lives, she is screaming at us for grated Parmesan cheese daily, which we happily give into everytime. Wouldn’t you?
