Pet's Story
Sweet Jett found me in a northern community, where I was working. He was sick, and hungry, and had been without shelter for a long time - and still it was obvious what a special, gentle spirit he is. Although I thought I wasn’t ready to adopt again, after the passing of my last pup, it was undeniably meant to be.

Jett has overcome heartworm in the year that I’ve known him, which was a long and challenging treatment/recovery. He’s now healthy and will soon be joining me as a co-facilitator in animal assisted therapy sessions! Jett loves to meet humans and dogs, but especially seems to enjoy hanging out with our neighbourhood children, who give him lots of hugs and kisses and tell him what a “good little big dog” he is :)

Jett is still learning to feel safe and confident in our often noisy and unpredictable world, but he is more adventurous every day. A total softie who loves to snuggle and show love, Jett brings so much light to this world!
