I first spotted this ground squirrel peeking from its burrow in the distance. I lay low on the ground, remaining completely still for nearly 20 minutes. Slowly and cautiously, the squirrel began to approach. When it reached the perfect spot framed by the majestic mountain backdrop, I captured this moment of quiet curiosity in the wild.
