Yes, Rhonda is a chicken. Have you ever been loved by a chicken? Rhonda and I started our relationship on a rocky road. I found Rhonda at a farm just outside of Winona. She was kept in a very small coop with 30 other chickens. She was never held, and was only expected to lay eggs. She was not producing, so the farmer was trying to sell her off. As she was never held, she was very scared of people. After months of feeding treats by hands, she began to warm up to my family. Now, she is the queen of our coop and the most loving bird I have ever had. I am so blessed to have her!
