A little about me...
A special little cat angel left her playmates from Wiregrass Humane Society and walked into my home at the age of six weeks old in August 2001. Our Nation was just a little over two weeks away from the sadness endured on September 11, 2001.

Such a beautiful tricolor kitty with the hair on her nose up to the center of her forehead in a tan color. It looked like a peanut shell was stuck on her face....so Peanut became her name. She was the first cat I had that would answer me by her name !

Peanut was sassy and confident, making it clear that I was her pet. This tiny fuzzy kitten, welcomed me home every day with games to play, sleep on my lap and never failed to make me laugh. Peanut grew up to be so pretty with stunning green eyes, long hair and four inch long perfectly curled whiskers.

The years flew by, finally Peanut was a grand old lady enduring kidney disease for the last two years of her life. Finally at the age of 19 years old, on one sad afternoon in February 2020, she quietly left her tired little body behind , crossing the Rainbow Bridge to meet her doggy brother, little Rusty. Peanut and Rusty are having a grand time there playing, chasing butterflies and taking long naps.

Love, Mommy
