Pet's Story or BioPepperSprout was brought to WHS Racine Campus as a stray who couldn't walk. Her hind legs were paralyzed, covered in scabs and callused from dragging her feet behind her. We believed she would not be able to walk again. She weighed only 5 pounds and was skin and bones. After 8 weeks of strict crate rest, meds, and unconditional love PepperSprout started standing on her hind legs. She slowly learned to walk again and will forever be a wobbly walker. She loves to run around her yard and play with big sister Frankie! PepperSprout has to wear doggie diapers but that makes her even cuter. Frankie has helped teach PepperSprout how to be a dachshund and has helped her gain trust in people again. Follow PepperSprout on instagram: @peppersproutthedoxie
