Pet's Story or Bio
Our little Snowy passed in August of 2018 and it left a hole in our hearts. In January of 2019, we I decided to look on the Ozaukee Co. shelter website and immediately knew we had to visit the shelter that day. I called my husband who was shopping. He agreed the house was not a home and put away the Play Station in the cart and picked me up at home. Dolly and another dog, both 7 months old, had just arrived from a shelter in the South that morning. No picture was available, so we chose to meet Dolly first. She was so scared and shy, crawling into the room. We fell in love immediately. There was no way we were leaving without her. We brought her home and she and our little our other little dog, Blizzard became friends, but he passed in August of 2019, a year after his aunt Snowy to the day. Dolly was there for us and she is and forever will be the baby of the family. She shows us the joy of living every day with her incessant "waggily" tail, kisses, and love. We are so grateful for her love.
