She was a feral barn cat kitten rescued by a friend in a brutally cold spell in winter 2014. We weren't looking for another cat, let alone a kitten, but when our friend told us she had a solid brown kitten, we HAD to see her for ourselves, and fell in love. Her "gotcha" day is my husband's birthday, and she is definitely a daddy's girl!
