Surely, formally named Elena, was a rescue during COVID. My friend fostered her and it wasn't clear that she was going to be approved for adoption, BUT she was and I love her more than I ever thought possible. It is thanks to my dear friend and the Milwaukee Humane Society that she came into my life, truly. She does have a sister cat as well, JJ, who was adopted from the Humane Society and I wouldn't call it love, but JJ does allow Surely to sit on her and it's the cutest thing ever.
