Pet's Story or Bio
Flora was pulled from a nasty hoarding situation in the Green Bay area at around 4 months old. We adopted her from an amazing foster with the Green Bay campus. We learned she had very little interest and was actually adopted and returned. She was so nervous and fearful of humans it was thought that she may never adapt to living in a home. We provided her own safe space and spent time with her in that safe space every single day. Even when she wanted to hide and wanted nothing to do with us, we'd still lay there and talk to her until one day she decided she didn't need to hide anymore. After 2 years of patience and love she has come out of her shell and is now a true velcro cat. She sleeps pressed up against my head every single night and licks my forehead in the morning when it's time to get up. She comes running when I call her name and her constant chirps and trills melt our hearts. As Coach always says.. Go Pack Go!


Rescue is not just a verb. It's a promise. Our promise to Flora is that she will never feel fear or neglect again. She will always be protected. She is home.
