Pet's Story or Bio
Boo was adopted from the Wisconsin Humane Society in November of 2018. He had been surrendered because his person felt she could no longer support all five of the cats in the household. I had recently lost a cat and was about to undergo a knee replacement which I thought would keep me housebound so felt it was good time to take on a new pet. I saw a picture of Boo (or Blue as he was known then) and immediately fell in love with his beautiful white fur and two different colored eyes. Upon meeting Boo I was drawn in by his beauty but also felt his sadness at finding himself in this position. Once I got him home he was very sweet but also depressed. It took me a few weeks to coax him to eat much and was years before I heard his quiet purr. He is still shy with other people but obviously as attached to me as I am to him. He is a great example of why people need to give shy cats a chance.
