Boba came to the Ozaukee Humane Society from Tennessee when he was about 3, and that was all I knew about him!

I don't think he had a great life before coming to Wisconsin. When I first adopted him he was very skinny, and afraid of everyone and everything (stairs, doorways, lawn ornaments, loud noises, ANY noises...). However, even from the beginning he was the sweetest boy and so full of love.

I've now had Boba for over 7 years, and I'm so proud of how far he's come. He's brave and calm and wants to say hello to everyone he meets. In some ways, he hasn't changed at all. He still loves with his whole heart and wags his tail with his whole butt. And he still has that puppy face that makes strangers ask twice how old he is.

All my life I've wanted a dog. Boba is my first, and he is perfect. I don't believe I'll love another dog as much as I love him, and that's okay. Should I be lucky enough to grow old and keep my memories, I think I'll look back on my time with Boba as the best of my life.
