Hobbes (named after the comic book Calvin & Hobbes) is my 19-year-old soul cat. Originally born to a barn cat in rural Illinois - I've been lucky to have him in my life since he was an 8-week-old kitten. He's been with me through middle school, high school, college, and multiple moves across multiple states. Now residing in Bay View, he loves taking neighborhood walks on his leash, filling up on his favorite Greenies treats, and demanding cuddle time. He's my first cat and has been my little shadow through everything. He's the perfect companion and I'm reminded daily just how much the human-animal bond matters.
