Pet's Story or Bio
We found Leon wandering around our neighborhood. We noticed he was in need of medical attention and began to build a trusting relationship with him with food and treats. We were able to bring him into our home on Thursday night for a short period of time before he became ill Friday around midnight. We rushed him to an emergency vet where his condition improved and stayed over night with IV fluids. We went to check on him during the flood warnings but his fever remained so they advised he may need to stay another night. As of this morning 8/10/25 we received heartbreaking news that his condition worsened and had make a quality of life decision. Until the end, asking for pets, purring in our arms. We find comfort in knowing that he picked us and trusted us to spend his last moments with. He was extremely sweet and adored pets. We want to honor Leon and the immense impact he had on our lives. In the short period of time, he stole our hearts. We will love you always Leon.
