Leo isn’t just my dog—he’s my soul in fur. For 15 years, he’s been my shadow, my comfort, and sometimes, my boss. Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with cancer, but don’t let that fool you—Leo didn’t miss a beat. He’s still the same sassy little king who tells me exactly when it’s steak o’clock, side-eyes me if I dare sit in his spot, and somehow convinces everyone he meets that they should scratch his head right now.

Through heartbreaks, changes, and every messy chapter of life, Leo has been my one constant. He’s loyal beyond measure, stubborn in the most endearing way, and loves with his whole heart. And when he curls up beside me, I know—without question—that he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
