Tell us a bit about your pet, what their story is & how they have changed your life for the better!
Son and I went to KHS just to "look". We immediately fell in LOVE with Daisy. Hubby said no to getting a puppy then. Made a deal with him that night that MAYBE IF Daisy was still there the next day, we could bring her home. Maybe. We went back the next day and by a great surprise, Daisy was still there!!!!! I cried all the way home with this 8 week old puppy in my lap.

Fast forward to a year and half, Daisy is now a Therapy Dog with LOAL and working towards her training to be a SAR(search & rescue) dog. She's the best thing that's happened to our family and hopefully to the community soon!

***Spoiler alert: I secretly placed a 24 hr hold on Daisy the day before. I was coming back for her either way.
