Tell us a bit about your pet, what their story is & how they have changed your life for the better!
We adopted Blue from KHS in March 2019. He was a little rough around the edges and the KHS staff warned us he needed some training. Immediately when we got home he was a different dog, and warmed up to us so fast. He has learned to sit, stay, lay down, jump, spin, shake and can catch all the treats. He enjoys tug of war and car rides (specifically to Andy’s ice cream) most of all but also loves taking naps right on top of us. He is convinced he’s a lap dog but weighing in at 90lbs (on a good day) we don’t have the heart to tell him otherwise. We cannot imagine our lives without this handsome and silly boy, and are so thankful that KHS brought him into our lives.
