Hattie was my first rescue and the reason I got involved with Weimaraner Rescue of the South. Hattie was found found pregnant & eating out of trash cans in a rural area just below Hattiesburg, MS (thus the name). She was my constant companion and one very special girl. This photo was taken on Hattie's 15th Birthday. She crossed the rainbow bridge just 5 months later...
