This is Mush and Rocco, my two male Weimaraners were from the same litter. Rocco ( black collar ) was diagnosed 2 1/2years ago with cancer, the vet recommended putting him down right away, however I refused to do so without a second opinion from a specialist. Thank goodness I did, they said he was a great candidate for chemo, it would put the cystic lymphoma in remission. We started chemo immediately and Rocco lived for another 2 and 1/2 years. Sadly on May 8, 2015 the cancer took over and we had to put him to rest. Rocco passed peacefully in his home with his family and Mush.
Rocco is missed every day, it is very difficult to move on but we know he lived a long and wonderfully happy 12 years with us. We give Mush as much attention as possible as we know he fells the loss as well.
