Hank was abandoned in Mississippi in the summer of 2014. WRS took him under their wing & cured his ailments (including heartworms). By the end of his treatments, Hank had dropped ~30lbs due to the stress of everything he experienced. His foster parents (Billy and Amber in Alabama) did a great job helping Hank start his recovery. Hank was adopted into his forever home on New Year's Eve, 2014. After an anxious ride to South Carolina, he quickly realized he found a new home and a new Daddy. Since then he seems to have re-gained 100% of his strength and is a big healthy (blue) boy. I'm also happy to report he's heartworm negative! Everyone who meets Hank for the 1st time are simply amazed at his looks, size, personality and most of all his overall happiness! Thanks again Bug for all of your help during the adoption process...
