The day we rescued Emmylou from a county shelter was filled with hope and disappointment. After her checkup with our vet, we discovered she was infested with multiple varieties of worms including heartworm which required aggressive treatment.

Three years later, this rescue pup is still going strong proving she is all HEART and truly is the best pup our family could hope for!
