Emmylou was adopted from a local Alabama shelter in February 2014 after the death of our 13 year old WRS rescue, Duke. She came to us us heart-worm positive, no manners, and no expectations other than that she would fill the gigantic hole in our heart missing after losing Duke to renal failure in late January of that same year. Mission Accomplished - Rescues are the BEST!
