Hattie was rescued by a WRS Angel in June 2018 from a rural shelter in Louisiana. She was borderline emaciated, heart worm positive, was plagued with a host of gastrointestinal parasites and had given birth to a liter before the age of 2. After going through the rigors of heart worm treatment and being nursed back to health by her foster mom, Hattie was cleared to be adopted. Since coming into our home Hattie has bonded with her 13 yo Weim brother Henry and together they are thick as thieves enjoying life.
