Rachel is my life saver. I lost my best friend in September of last year. Jubal a gorgeous Weim that was my life. Turns out he had bum kidneys and was only 2 years and 9 months. The next day I went on a search and found Rachel about 6 hours drive in Alabama. We talked with her Mom and Dad and decided I needed that hole filled ASAP. This beauty was just 8 weeks old then.She has been by side ever since and fully understands her place and importance. She turned 1, 3 weeks ago. I was a mess when I lost my boy but she has come to fill that void. A little differently than Jubal but filling it all the same. Our favorites include long walks in the wooded dog park, running faster than all the other dogs and Dad holding a stick or bone really firmly and letting her have a nice solid chew. She ran directly into the water the first time we went to the lake and loves swim time. More than anything she loves sleeping with mom and dad and kissing. Her nicknames are Rae, Rae Rae and Pretty. She’s Ben called that so much she comes to it. She was and is my rescuer.
