A little about me...
Xam was a US Army brat prior to joining our family. Born in Washington state, he even lived overseas on a US Army base! His family could no longer take care of him and were about to take him to a kill shelter in Killeen, TX, but we swooped in and saved him in September 2009, when he was almost 3 years old.

This giant boy weighed in at 100lbs and was frequently asked if he was a Great Dane! But this cuddle bug is no Dane, he's a true velcro dog! In this photo, he's awaiting his adopted big Weim brother at the other end of the creek to return with the ball, as this guy was not a swimmer and would only go in ankle deep.

Sweeter than sugar, an angel in disguise, now he's doing the same with his big Weim brother in Doggy Heaven... 10/13/2006 - 04/04/2017
