A little about me...
Blue was unofficially adopted by me when I married my husband. He loved this dog so much. He passed away 2 years ago at the age of 37 and left Blue behind with me. She is a regal and beautiful and smart and sweet girl and has brought me so much joy and comfort during the darkest hours of my life. Sometimes, she was my only reason for holding myself together. Even now, sometimes I look at her and I just cry because I know she misses her daddy just as much as I do. He and she were best friends. And now, she is my best friend. I love this picture of her in the Bluebonnets of Texas because she looks so strong and beautiful. I didn't even know what a Weimeraner was before I met Blue and I follow this rescue because I know her days with me are limited and I fully intend to find another wonderful "Weime" when she has left me; Blue is 11 years old and showing her age and I dread the day she will leave this earth . But she has a beautiful soul and is the epitome of what man's (or woman's) best friend should be and I could only hope that other humans in this world could experience the love I have for this dog and the love that she gives back unconditionally.
