We obtained Lakota and her littermate, Cobalt, from a breeder who was shortly thereafter jailed for drug and animal cruelty charges. We were fortunate to rescue our two, but missed getting the final pup from the litter, who was later found in terrible condition and had to be euthanized. Lakota and Cobalt happily escaped from the inhumane conditions of a puppy mill and lived a life full of happiness and endless love. They brought endless joy to our lives for eleven too-short years.
