Kobe became handicapped at three days old from her mom stepping on her neck. She’s has proven over and over she is going to overcome all obstacles to become a wonderful pet with the biggest heart. Kobe’s story is a testament to her breed that they are the perfect all round companion even when there are obstacles. She wants to please, she loves to play, she understands so well and has the can do spirit and just the right amount of stubbornness that you can’t help but love.
Kobe started out not being able to move or stand and flopped to where she needed to be and used her siblings to support her, she spent her first few months in a padded playpen and carried out to play outside or to flop around and wrestle with her dad. She learned how to walk and went
from going in circles and falling down to learning how to slow down and spread her legs to squat and a wonderful prance to get up and play. She is only 10 months old and has come so far and I have no doubt she will keep trying until she is just like her mom and dad.
I sometimes worry that we aren’t enough for her in our 60s but I can’t imagine a life without her and we are going to keep doing everything to help her have the best life all this, and she is absolutely beautiful.
