Dixie came to me as a pup. She had a great mentor in my Weimaraner named Ellie. Ellie taught Dixie how to ride in the pickup with head hanging out so the air would blow her jaws showing her teeth. Dixie loved to ride beside me in the side by side until she sniffed something to chase then she would jump out. Dixie was friendly to my cat but other cats and squirrels were fair chases. Dixie enjoyed the beach and made several trips with us. She was a constant, loyal companion. Dixie passed in 2020, breaking my heart.
