Kona came to YHS when she was just 8 weeks old after being hit by a car. She was a tiny 10-pound puppy with a badly broken leg. I had the chance to foster her through 10 weeks of vet visits and cast changes, and during that time, I completely fell in love with her. When she was finally healed and ready for adoption, I knew I couldn’t say goodbye, so I adopted her myself.
