Meet Sassy Pants — a spirited 4 1/2-year-old cat with a big personality. She entered the Yakima Humane Society as a tiny kitten, just two weeks old, and I had the privilege of fostering her until she was old enough for adoption. True to her name, Sassy Pants has always been full of attitude; I knew from the moment she was furiously scratching at her bottle and syringe that she was destined to be a diva. In 2021, I had an accident while carrying her, and we both fell. Though I sustained serious injuries, thankfully Sassy Pants emerged unharmed. That incident deepened our bond, and I couldn’t bear to part with her. When she was old enough, I adopted her through YHS, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Sassy Pants is a perfect blend of sweet and sassy — she’ll let you know when she has opinions to share. Her lively personality and unwavering loyalty make her a truly special companion.
