Founded in 1904, the Yakima Humane Society is the only animal welfare organization of its kind in Yakima County. For over a century, we’ve been committed to ending animal suffering and cruelty, reducing pet overpopulation, and promoting responsible pet ownership through education and outreach.
We operate a full-service shelter and veterinary clinic, offering adoption services, spay/neuter programs, and life-saving care for thousands of animals each year. Our team of staff and volunteers works tirelessly to provide second chances to pets in need and to inspire kindness and compassion throughout our community.
