Your Pet's Story or Bio
We got Sky when he was 1 year old. We adopted him thinking he was a 6 month old Border Collie to find out he was full grown and a Papillion/Jack Russel terrier mix. He has an enormous amount of energy, even at the age of 13. When our other dog, Lani, became deaf, Sky became the "hearing ear" dog for her. She would always look for Sky to see where she needed to be since she couldn't hear when she was called. Sky would come running and Lani was sure to follow! Sky was Lani's best friend. Lani passed away two weeks ago so Sky could use a little pick-me-up to cheer his spirits since his companion of 10 years just left his side and he no longer has another dog to play with.
*Sky currently lives in Cary, NC with my parents, but he's still mine!
