Your Pet's Story or Bio
Sophie is an international rescue from Turkey. YGRR #5414 is a petite thirty-five pound golden. She is a registered therapy dog and has weekly visits to the VA Hospital in Jamaica Plain as well as the Harvard Medical School, where she is a Countway Cuddle dog. Reading programs and regular visits to college campuses like Wellesley College and Harvard Business School round out her busy visiting schedule. Sophie is currently enrolled in the master’s Program at the Boston College Canine Center. She, and her big sister Kyrie were the first canine scientists to complete their undergraduate program at BCCC.
