Charlie is a 10 year old golden retriever/husky mix. I rescued him back in 2015 and I still don’t know who saved who! Charlie enjoys long walks in the woods or a walk on the beach where he gets to see all his four-legged friends and go for an occasional swim. Charlie is always down for an adventure and is the most charismatic and intelligent dog I have ever owned. He has the best personality and will make sure he gets what he wants and if he doesn’t he will let his husky genes shine and let out a big howl. He has the sweet demeanor of a golden though which I am truly grateful for. Back in 2022 Charlie was diagnosed with a super rare cancer “malignant tricoepitheloma” . He undergoes staging for reoccurrence every 3-4 months and is the most perfect patient. Despite his diagnosis Charlie still maintains the energy of a far younger dog and you’d never know he had anything wrong with him! Charlie knows how to make every day a great day.
