Jesse came home from Yankee Golden with the story of being an elderly golden, with terrible joints and aspiration pneumonia from his megaesophagus, looking for a hospice home. Since his adoption he was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis that has spontaneously resolved without treatment, started treatment for his low thyroid and lost 30lbs, and, most importantly, is spoiled rotten as the only grandchild. He goes to work with his mom (a veterinarian) everyday, regularly takes his parents on hikes or to the beach, and has become an expert at trying to steal snacks off the counter now that his knees feel good enough to support his mischievous ways. A reborn wild child, he loves to chase his Grandma and Grandpa’s 4 year old golden around the yard, or go swimming in his Nana and Grampa’s pool. His parents are so proud of, and grateful for, the crazy 9 year old puppy he has become again. However, no matter how incredible it may be to watch him enjoying his newfound capabilities, there is still nothing sweeter to his parents than seeing Jesse curl up with all his stuffies for a good relaxing snooze.
