Hey, I'm Charlie! At 6 months old I found myself among a lot of different critters. I was pretty scared, not understanding barks or meows, I only knew how to grunt. I didn't have many visitors being so young and not in with the main mix. I didn't know what to do in this foreign place but rooting my blanket gave me comfort. The #YWAC folks were comforting and they knew something I didn't. You see, that place was only a temporary home.

One day a man came to my door. He told me I wasn't what he was searching for and he was so worried about ending up divorced or something! But as I watched through the window, I could tell he was thinking somethin. A few minutes later people were talking outside. Then some nice ladies came in scooped me up and set me on a journey. To where I was going, who knew. Well, that man knew.

A short while later I found myself in a whole new world of sights and sounds and smells surrounded by big shade trees and bushes and fields to explore! Now, almost two years later and full grown I know most of all that what is so thrilling is being in a home with people. My very own people! They accept me and care for my needs and handle my quirks and - and yes, I know they love me for who I am. I am Charlie.
I graze all day and nap under the shade of a big tree. I love rooting and have learned to only root in special places. My sisters the ducks love to follow and we share the treasures found in the ground and the chickens just love dust baths. I am learning new things every day.

I could never have dreamt of what it is to have a place of my own. #YoungWilliams took me in and gave me a chance at a great life and my very own family. Gosh, I'm just about the luckiest pig around!
My birthday is St Patricks Day March 17 and so I wish Good Luck to every other pet, pup and purrer out there to find the same care, patience and love I have found.
