Tigger picked me at a Pet Smart adoption event. I was there buying food for my 4 other rescues. There were two rows of crates stacked in the main aisle. I was reading a description for the cat on the right side; someone tapped me on my shoulder. No one was there. I continued to read the other description. Someone tapped me on the shoulder again. It was Tigger. He was telling me he wanted out of the cage and wanted to be noticed. I filled out the adoption paperwork that day. He is the most loving cat I've ever owned. He likes to ride on my shoulder during the day. Evenings, we watch TV together. He reminds me when its time for bed. He likes to help decorate the house for the holidays. He's now 17 and I've counted each day as a blessing. I smile every time I think how lucky I was that he picked (adopted) me.
